During this time she gained a Masters Degree in Business (MBA) | | She has worked for three years with Welland Medical, as one of their senior managers | | She is now the International Marketing Manager and 50% of her time is spent, talking, listening and training nurses and patients from all around the world. She has particular interest in training nurses in Eastern Europe to improve general standards of care | | She has lectured at international conferences in stoma care and has had several articles published in a number of different countries |

| Jo has been a nurse for over five years and has a degree in Nursing | | She has worked as a stoma care nurse for over eight years in the UK NHS. She has worked in a some of the major stoma specialist hospitals including St Marks Hospital and St Georges Hospital in London | | She has also worked with Coloplast for five years but left to complete a year in India working with the Voluntary Services for patients with leprosy and diabetes | | Her role at Welland Medical is to co-ordinate and implement clinical trials. She works with the design engineers on new product development. Most of her time is spent with the patients and nurses from all around the world testing products time and again to make sure all the best features are designed and tested before being released | | She also spends a lot of time listening to patients and nurses and discussing problems they encounter to help with new product development |
